BABYWEARING CONSULTATIONS
All consultations take place in the comfort of your own home (I will travel to you!) and are completely tailored to you and your child, taking into account your needs, preferences, comfort and safety. Not sure which option suits your needs best, or do you prefer something different to what is offered? Get in touch!
GROUP RATES: if you would like to book a session for a group of friends, a parents' group, or healthcare professionals (such as daycares or doulas), I am happy to customise a workshop for you. Please get in touch via email, and we can discuss a flat rate based on your group size and specific needs.
FULL CONSULTATION
(90 minutes)
We will discuss your needs and goals when it comes to carrying your little one, I will show you several options that would be suitable and demo them for you (you can also try them!) and then we will go into detail on your chosen carrying system and I will teach you how to use it safely, step by step, giving you lots of practice with a weighted demo doll until you are feeling confident, and then with your baby or child.
This session is also great if you are completely new to babywearing and want to learn about the different options available to you and test some out before you commit to buying something.

(I will communicate how long I anticipate a consultation will likely take after speaking to you and receiving your booking form. Please note that consultations where more than one parent or caregiver is present do tend to take longer)
MINI CONSULTATION / TROUBLESHOOT
(60 minutes)
Do you already have a carrier or sling and want to learn how to use it or how to get the most out of it? Is it uncomfortable and we need to troubleshoot what's happening? Do you want to learn a new way of carrying using your existing carrying system (eg you've been carrying your baby on your front and wish to move onto carrying them on your back, using the same carrier)? We will also cover safety checks, and may include use of demo slings and a weighted demo doll if necessary.

FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION
(30 minutes)
Have we already had a consultation together, but you wish to get some more practice in together with your chosen carrier or sling? No problem! Just book in for a follow up consultation.

In-person consults are available in and around Leiden. Travel within 10km of Leiden Noord is free, beyond that I charge a flat rate of €10 for addresses between 10-20km from Leiden Noord for travel time and expenses. Consultations further than 20km away are available, but please contact me to discuss what is possible! Parking costs are always passed on to the client.
I firmly believe that financial constraints should never stand in the way of carrying your baby safely and comfortably. If my standard fees are prohibitive for your current budget, please reach out to me. I reserve a limited number of lower-cost sessions each month, and we can discuss a rate that works for your situation.
